SELI since 1950 is working in the TBM tunnelling industry.
With over 72 TBM tunnel projects, more than 450 km of tunnels executed and 200 under execution, SELI is the most experienced tunnelling company worldwide.

SELI TBM projects:

SELI is organized into two main divisions:

A) SELI Divisione Costruzioni dealing with the actual construction of tunnel projects by TBM method.
SELI Divisione Costruzioni acts as Main Contractor or Subcontractor as well, in special Partnering Contracts, as provider of Specialised Services and supplies for TBM projects to be executed by General Contractors.
B) SELI Divisione Tecnologie dealing with TBMs and auxiliary equipment design and fabrication/overhaul, as well with all the technical activities related to tunnel design, including: primary supports, in situ and precast concrete linings, site installations, geological studies, construction methodology studies, feasibility studies

In addition SELI own a separate company, Innotek, specialised in the development and commercialisation of new chemical products to be used in EPB and Rock TBM tunnelling.

Through this organization SELI is probably the only company in the world able to offer the complete range of products and services for the design and execution of TBM tunnelling projects as well to provide these products and services under the most flexible contractual forms, adapting them to the requirements of its clients.
